The Student Wellness Service (SWS) is part of the UCT Department of Student Affairs. At SWS, we are dedicated to assisting students to remain healthy and fulfilled by making healthy lifestyle choices as they pursue their academic goals. We provide professional medical and counselling services to students at a primary health care level. We are involved with the promotion of a balanced and healthy lifestyle as well as the prevention, early detection and treatment of all physical and mental health conditions.
A comprehensive outpatient health service is run by both medical practitioners and nurses. The service is dedicated to helping students remain healthy, and make the correct life choices while pursuing their academic goals. Students are encouraged to seek help and guidance as early as possible.
