Third Term courses are offered in the June/July vacation (winter term) and in the November/December vacation (summer term).

A limited selection of courses is offered, mostly repeats of standard courses offered during the formal semesters. The same entry requirements apply.

The 12 weeks of the course are compressed into a 4-week period, with several lecture/tutorial slots per day. The exam is written a few days after the lectures end.

A Third Term course has the same material as the normal semester course, and students are required to submit the same volume of work.

Because of the intensified nature of these courses, students may register for only one Third Term course at a time.
