Register for Beginners’ Afrikaans Course for UCT staff and students offered by the Multilingualism Education Project (MEP) based in the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHED).

The course will take place from August to October 2025. It is 12 sessions online or face to face course offered during 13:00–14:00 time or 16:00–17:00. The course covers basic conversation eg personal introductions, making friendships, interacting with the community, giving information and making simple requests.

A university certificate of completion or attendance of the course will be awarded at the end of the course.
