Register for Beginners and Intermediate Masithethe isiXhosa Course for staff and students offered by the Multilingualism Education Project (MEP) based in the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHED). The course will take place from August to October 2025. It is 12 sessions online or face to face course offered during 13h00–14h00 time or 16h00–17h00. The course covers basic conversation e.g. personal introductions, making friendships, interacting with the community, giving information and making simple requests. The course will also provide you with basic knowledge of the African culture, isiXhosa culture in particular. A university certificate of completion or attendance of the course will be awarded at the end of the course.
