The Post-Awards process is initiated by the respective Contracts Manager by selecting the workflow step “Signed Contact, Existing Fund”. This action creates a project award record in the Post-Awards module.

The project award record starts off on the “Sales Order Processing” workflow step. The Research Admin contact should be tagged on the related project form at this stage by the Finance Debtors role, making the form accessible to them once the form has been moved to the “Project In Progress” workflow step by Faculty Finance. Finance Debtors will review the project form, and raise a Sales Order number if applicable. The form is then moved to the “Project in Progress” workflow step.

The project record will remain on this step for the duration of activity of the project, and only during this step can Requisition Requests, Budget Loading requests and Project Award Management milestones be captured and submitted by the Research Admin contact.
