UCT is migrating from Research Professional Africa (RPA) to Pivot-RP, a new and improved platform for accessing international and national research funding opportunities.

Pivot-RP offers a comprehensive, user-friendly tool to explore funding from international and national funding agencies, private foundations, non-profits, and more.

Important Update:

  • Research Professional Africa (RPA) will be accessible until 31 March 2025
  • After this date, UCT will be fully subscribed to Pivot-RP
  • Researchers are encouraged to log in with their UCT credentials and claim their profiles at the Pivot-RP Website

Purpose

UCT researchers can access the latest global coverage of research funding programmes, as well as science and technology news and innovation policies through the institutional subscription. This is an essential resource in the current national funding climate and we encourage all UCT researchers to take full advantage. The funding opportunities span the full spectrum of research disciplines and sponsors.
