TLC2022: Reflect, connect, envision
The annual UCT Teaching and Learning Conference provides an opportunity for UCT staff and students to reflect, connect and envision a way forward in a more socially just teaching and learning environment.
At the beginning of May 2022, Council approved the appointment of Professor Harsha Kathard as Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Teaching and Learning.
Professor Kathard is a Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders and Research Director of the Inclusive Practices Africa Research Unit. She is a C2-rated scientist who has published over 60 research papers and has extensive experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
Professor Collier-Reed is a highly esteemed academic and leader who has dedicated almost three decades to UCT.
