Mr Yaseen Moollatjie

Mr Moollatjie is currently employed at the University of Cape Town as an Employee Relations Specialist. He holds an LLB degree (UWC), a PGDip: Labour Law (cum laude) (UWC) and an LLM: Labour Law (cum laude) (UCT).

At UCT he currently serves as a member of Senate, HRTAC and the HR Employment Equity Committee. He is a member of the National Employee Relations Forum for Higher Education and currently holds the positions of chairperson for the Western Cape Region and secretariat of the executive committee.

As an admitted attorney of the High Court, he has represented many clients across various industries (retail, fashion, construction, higher education, agriculture, transport, medical and more) at internal disciplinary hearings, the CCMA, bargaining councils, the High Court, the Labour Court and the Labour Appeal Court.

Mr Moollatjie has extensive experience in labour and commercial law. He has advised local and international clients and has conducted complex investigations on their behalf on various aspects of employment law and collective bargaining issues across Africa, including South Africa, Namibia, Ghana, Mauritius, Nigeria and Madagascar.
