Various buildings at UCT have filtered water fountains where students, staff and visitors can obtain free drinking water. Examples of this include the d-school and the Leslie Commerce Building. The university also has restrooms throughout the university that have potable water available on tap that is free and available for students, staff and visitors to drink – this is municipal potable water which is of a high drinking water quality.
