All students pursuing postgraduate study are encouraged to seek out funding. You should start the funding search early, even as much as a year in advance. You will need to have your funding secured and in place by the time registration begins at the start of the year.
When to apply
Postgraduate funding applications are only considered once you have already applied for the programme you are interested in studying.
That means you must submit your UCT admissions application online before applying for UCT funding.
Make sure you have followed the application process carefully and make note of deadlines – some funding deadlines happen earlier than deadlines for application.
