As an international student, you will need to go through a pre-registration process once you’ve received an offer of admission.

This process will require verification of your immigration-related documents (passport, visa and medical aid) and tuition fee payments.

These will be captured and uploaded to the students’ record system at the UCT International Office. Once pre-registration is complete, you can proceed to academic registration and course enrolment.

Pre-registration will only be processed online through UCT’s PeopleSoft Student Administration Self Service via service requests (SR). For more information on the pre-registration requirements (including a guide on how to submit your SR) visit this pre-registration page. 

Important note: It is no longer possible to complete pre-registration via email. Requests received via email will be re-directed to submit a SR to complete this process.
