UCT welcomes the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China
On 19 September, the University of Cape Town (UCT) International Office Director Quinton Johnson, PhD and colleagues from the Department of Electronic Engineering welcomed a delegation from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). This visit led to discussions exploring future collaborations between the two institutions in the fields of engineering, technology and international exchange.
Led by UESTC Vice-President Prof. Luo Guangchun, the delegation engaged in fruitful discussions with UCT representatives on academic partnerships, joint research initiatives and potential student and Faculty exchange programmes. The aim of the visit was to strengthen ties between South Africa and China, particularly in the areas of higher education and technological innovation.
