Fond Farewell to Prof Sue Harrison

On 10 January 2024, Internationalisation Director Quinton Johnson and his colleagues bid a fond farewell to Prof. Sue Harrison as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Internationalisation). The International Office expressed its heartfelt appreciation to her for a remarkable 33-year career of visionary leadership and dedicated service to the University of Cape Town (UCT). She was especially instrumental in placing Internationalisation at the forefront of the institution’s future. She established numerous international partnerships and collaborations with world class universities that significantly elevated the global ranking and reputation of UCT. As she commences a new journey, we wish her the best success in changing the world and making it better. Thank you Prof. Harrison!
