MTA FORM AVAILABLE ON THE eRA SYSTEM

We are pleased to announce that the Agreements Specification module is now available for use on the eRA system. This module can be used to log requests for Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs) and replaces the need for a Word document Material Transfer Agreement. The information is now captured directly in eRA and the long-term goal is to use the basis for AI automation of contracting as the volume of MTAs increases. This replaces the old system where a contract and MTA form were emailed to RC&I. Now everything comes to us via eRA.

Please note that this form is only for MTAs, both inbound and outbound. Refer to the linked guide for instructions on completing the respective MTA forms. 

All other contracts where funding is received by the University should continue to follow the standard Pre-award Internal Approval process.
