UCT’s exciting Innovation Opportunities

February marks an important new initiative at RCIPS with the launch of ‘Innovation Opportunities’.  2015 Summer is the first edition of this new publication which targets the marketing of UCT technologies and products and profiling entrepreneurship, investment and joint-venture opportunities.  Aligned with this is the creation of a page on our website http://www.rcips.uct.ac.za/innovation-opportunities that also presents these opportunities.

The Innovation Opportunities booklet will be launched at the Innovation Bridge event in February 2015.  Innovation Opportunities presents some of the recent technologies emanating from the UCT’s research in different industry sectors.  Technologies range from early stage, where development is still required, to mature licensing opportunities where a commercial partner is needed to realise the innovation.  Added to this are incubated virtual companies and new ventures that have started making their products available commercially.

Whilst a limited number of hardcopies will be printed, the PDF version will be available as a downloadable booklet.  This e-version will continually be updated as new technologies and print runs will be done periodically.  Single technology profiles will also be able to be downloaded.
