UCT Showcases Innovations at Innovation Bridge

RCIPS will showcase three UCT technologies at the Department of Science and Technology (DST)’s Innovation Bridge Technology Showcase and Matchmaking event, taking place between 1 and 3 February 2015 in Pretoria.  

The event, the first of its kind, will provide an opportunity for national and international technology-based companies, technology entrepreneurs, investors, financiers and other technology commercialisation partners, to access the latest and best publicly funded technology offerings from South Africa’s universities, science councils and companies supported by the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA).

The RCIPS team comprising Dr Andrew Bailey, Dr Revel Iyer, and Francois Oosthuizen will be exhibiting three innovation opportunities at the event, namely Elemental Numerics (Pty) Ltd software, Lumkani fire detection system and HyCAT (Pty) Ltd innovations in hydrogen fuel cells.

Our new publication "Innovation Opportunities – 2015 Summer” will also be launched there, providing profiles of other technologies that UCT is seeking commercial partners for.
