New Head of NIPMO Announced

Congratulations to Jetane Charsley who took over as the Head of the National Intellectual Property Management Office (NIPMO) in March 2022, after being co-Acting Head for the past year. 

Jetane is passionate about educating people about IP and ensuring that IP is used to bring real benefits to society.

In her previous role as Director: Regulatory and Compliance she has always been willing to listen to concerns and issues that are being experienced with the practical implementation of the IPR Act, and importantly, to address them. This responsiveness is critical for the successful implementation of the IPR Act, which the NIPMO team has certainly done well.
