UCT Wins at Innovation Bridge 2017

The award included prize money of R 50,000 which will be put towards supporting further innovation activities in the area. The team from RC&I and UCT Biomedical Division are shown together on the UCT stand at Innovation Bridge (L-R: Francois Oosthuizen, Saberi Marais, Dr Sudesh Sivarasu, Gian-Carlo Beukes and Gokul Nair). Prototypes of their various additive manufactured (3-D printed) medical devices were displayed on plinths and received a great deal of interest and attention.
