WIPO Summer School on Intellectual Property

The Department of Science and Technology of the Republic of South Africa will be co-hosting a Summer School on Intellectual Property with the World Intellectual Property Organisation. The summer school is scheduled to take place between the 28th of November and 9th of December 2011 at the University of Western Cape, Bellville.

It will offer an ample opportunity for graduates, post graduates and young professionals to gain invaluable insights on various forms of intellectual property and how these can catalyse economic, social, cultural and technological development. The role of WIPO as a global authority on Intellectual Property will also be covered.

The closing date for applications is on the 30th of August 2011.
