Louise Groenewald is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa and graduated at the University of the Western Cape with a LL.B degree in 2007 and completed her LL.M degree in Intellectual Property Law through UNISA in 2012.She completed her tenure of articles at Laubscher & Hattingh Attorneys in Durbanville where she gained experience in drafting Wills and Contracts, Corporate Law and litigation, to mention a few. Louise went on to commence employment at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2014 as a Contracts Officer in their Technology Transfer Office.

When her employment ended at CPUT in April 2017, she took up a position at the University of Cape Town as a Contracts Manager in their Research Contracts and Innovation Department where she is currently employed on a permanent basis.
