Dr Marc Naidoo
Dr Marc Naidoo has been serving as a lecturer in the Division of Physiotherapy at the University of Cape Town (UCT) since 2022. He obtained his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from the University of Western Cape (B.Sc. - 2003, M.Sc. PT - 2007, Ph.D. PT - 2019). His current responsibilities encompass providing undergraduate neurology education in physiotherapy, coordinating the 3rd-year undergraduate program, and supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. Before his current position, Dr Naidoo worked as a clinical educator in the Division of Physiotherapy at UCT from 2008 to 2021. During this time, he supervised physiotherapy students in their third and fourth years at geriatric and neurological clinical sites. Furthermore, Dr Naidoo has held various other roles, including serving as the HOD of physiotherapy at Conradie Hospital in Cape Town, owning a private practice, and leading the medical team for local, national, and international sports teams.

Marc has a keen interest in facilitating mediation among staff and students in various domains, such as workplace challenges, racial harassment, sexual harassment, and gender-based violence.
