Dr Adèle Ebrahim
Dr Adèle Ebrahim is an Occupational Therapist who holds a Bachelor of Social Science Degree and a BSc in Occupational Therapy from the University of Cape Town (UCT). She also has a Master's Degree in Education and a PhD in Disability Studies, with a particular interest in the inclusion of disability issues in training and employment for persons with disabilities.
Dr Ebrahim has extensive experience in incapacity and disability management within the world of work as well as in training persons with disabilities and employers on disability issues in the employment sphere. She has also been involved in policy development processes related to the inclusion of people with disabilities.
Currently, Dr Ebrahim is employed at UCT, where she lectures and supervises the clinical practice of 4th year Occupational Therapy students. She also lectures across programmes in Disability Studies and Occupational Therapy.
