A South African Sign Language interpreter (SASLi) is a professional who is fluent in two or more spoken/Sign languages. The interpreter's task is to facilitate communication in a natural manner ensuring equal access to information and participation.
The OIC-Disability Service SASLi provides services to University of Cape Town (UCT) students and staff to encourage accessible communication to all members of the UCT community and as such provide tools that ensure the success of the student and staff at UCT.
