Jereme Trompeter
Jereme Trompeter is an Accessible-Transport Driver within the Disability Service, responsible for providing accessible transport services to students and staff with disabilities. Jereme brings to this position, four years of coach driving experience in the transportation of passengers, knowledge of and adherence to the respective traffic rules and regulations, first aid and firefighting responsiveness, implementation of emergency and evacuation plans related to the transportation of passengers, as well as the proactive recognition and assistance of the elderly, persons with disabilities, vulnerable adults and children.
In addition, Jereme also has a yearlong project management experience as a Contract Senior Foreman and two years’ experience in the handling, transportation and decanting of hazardous chemicals and acids, with a thorough knowledge and understanding of the implementation of health, safety, emergency, and evacuation plans relating to these hazardous chemicals and acids. When off duty, Jereme enjoys a good braai while watching sports and spending time with family.
