The purpose of this course is to provide Fund holders and Administrators with a step-by-step process on how to setup, administer, maintain and approve departmental awards for postgraduate students and postdoctoral research fellows.

The step by step process include the following main areas which require fund holder activity:

(a) Setting up of new conditions of award

(b) Opening of SAPR/3 for fund to fund transfer

(c) Fund holder undertaking of the award indemnity, (d) Fund holder of award to student or fellow

(e) Fund holder approval or rejection of award offer.
