Register your soccer squad in the ultimate 5-a-side soccer tournament at UCT.

Rules:

  • Maximum number of teams: 8. Accepted on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Your team of 5 players must come from within a single department, unit or faculty
  • Competition type: Double Elimination Round
    Venue: UCT Sports Centre
    Duration of Matches: 20 minutes – (16minutes playing time – 2 minute half time break – 2 minute change around) 
  • Your Team must have a name, and dress theme and develop a 30 second challenge video. Post your video and tag @UCTalumni using the Hashtag #UCTDay….
  • Challenge videos will be shared on UCT social media platforms. The best 8 challenge videos posted, will guarantee successful entry into the tournament
  • Book on Webtickets to register your Team of 5.
  • Participation in the UCT Day sports challenges will not levy a fee.  All UCT Day events are free of charge.  Instead, we urge you to make a voluntary donation, using the donate buttons on the Webtickets site.
  • Proceeds from the donations will be applied to 1 of 4 UCT Day Student Support fundraising initiatives.
