On UCT Day 2024, UCT Middle Campus is the place to be!
Join us for UCT Day on 25th October! Explore the Alumni Film Festival with engaging local films. Bring family and friends to the Cricket Oval for fun activities like Bubble Soccer, the Amazing Race, and giant inflatables, or just relax with great food and live music.
Every ticket supports UCT students in need, so be part of the celebration and help us make a difference!

The Amazing Race
Put your creativity and speed to the test! Challenge last year’s champions and secure a spot for your team of four in the Amazing Race.

Gather a team of five and show off your sporting skills in a fun and action-packed Bubble Soccer Tournament.

Participate in the UCT Day alumni film festival. Meet established and emerging UCT alumni filmmakers in the Kramer Building precinct 18:00 – 20:30. This event is hosted in proud collaboration with Exclusive Books, Sunshine Cinema and the EMS Summer School. Ticket proceeds will be applied to the ‘UCT Unlocking Futures Bursary Fund’.
Get ready for UCT Day’s Amazing Race 2.0. 25 teams of 4 people will compete in the ultimate race on middle and lower camps. Meet at the Cricket Oval at 12h30 to beat the reigning cup holders. Remember to dress in vibrant team colours!
Join the Cycling, Rowing and Archery team challenges. 20 teams of 4 people will get to test their endurance! Enter your top sports teams and challenge other faculties to raise funds for the Food Sovereignty Programme.
Chill with us on the Cricket Oval. Network and reconnect with fellow staff, students and alumni in the company of great music. Dance; Hip-Hop and DJs are just some of the UCT student societies who will be on stage on UCT Day.
Play on the giant inflatables, play on the giant Chess Board or join the work-out session hosted by UCT Gym.
Eat Out visit the UCT Day Food trucks. Delicious, affordable snacks and beverages on sale from 12:00 – 17:00. Student Meal vouchers can be used at the Food & Connect vendors on site.
