What is the impact of visualization on science?

Scientific Visualization: From Archaeology to Astronomy is a one-day event where scientists and researchers from different disciplines meet to discover how visualization technologies impact scientific research.

The event will feature nine speakers showcasing (the application of) scientific visualization in different fields.

Why?

Scientific visualization impacts all research disciplines. Understanding our past, dealing with the challenges of climate change, discovering dark matter, and analyzing human behavior are all areas where scientific visualization is applied to gain scientific insight.

For who?

Visualization technologies used in one discipline can be applicable in other disciplines. This event will be of interest for researchers from all disciplines - from the humanities to astronomy and beyond.
