The Institutional Information Unit provides statistical information to, and conducts institutional research for, various committees and stakeholders within the university and supports the Academic Department Reviews by providing student demographic and academic performance data.

The unit has experience working with various datasets including the national Department of Higher Education and Training Higher Education Management Information System (HEMIS) data, Headcount and Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) student enrolment downloads, staffing data and Research Publication counts.
