The main purpose of this role is to provide expertise and guidance for planning (including academic planning, programme accreditation and quality reviews) within the university by creating an enabling environment for new programme development, the management of national accreditation processes and national reviews, and oversight of quality reviews.

Amanda is responsible for:

•Conceptualization, management, direction and support of the development of strategy in relation to the institutional academic planning and quality assurance functions
•Oversight in relation to programme accreditation
•Oversight in relation to quality reviews and quality assurance policy development and execution,
•A central point of contact for stakeholders, including statutory and external bodies, in relation to the functions of the unit,
•Scans of the higher education environment for the provision of information, advice and development of strategy for academic planning, monitoring and quality assurance,
•Managing the servicing of committees related to work in its area.
