Mrs Clarissa Robertson
Clarissa Robertson is the Director: Research Integrity and Ethics at Stellenbosch University. She is an experienced Research Ethics professional with a wealth of expertise in oversight and management of research ethics review procedures within the domains of Social Sciences and Education Research. Having served as the Manager of the Social, Behavioural and Education Research Ethics Committee (REC: SBE) at Stellenbosch University, she has successfully streamlined application and review processes, enhancing operational efficiency.
In addition to her current role, Clarissa has held various research and teaching support positions at Stellenbosch University and has contributed to multiple discussions on research integrity and ethics matters in the field. She participated as a panel speaker at the 8th World Conference on Research Integrity in June 2024, highlighting her ongoing commitment to advancing research integrity and ethics. She is in the process of completing her doctoral research and is a proud member of the Research Integrity and Ethics community of Practice in South Africa.
