During the launch which was characterised by the presence of several key stakeholders in the innovation landscape, from Government to VC's, all speakers agreed that innovation has a huge role to play in further diversifying our economy. The key role of the institute will be to ensure that independent start up inventors are able to access resources that have been traditionally reserved for inventors that work for big corporate companies.

To fulfil this role, the Institute has forged partnerships with stakeholders in all strategic areas including R & D facilities, IP protection services, rapid prototyping (3-D printing), venture capitalists, Government funding agencies and International Investors.

Through these partnerships the Institute will be well positioned, not only to assist Inventors with securing funding for their innovations but to also negotiate better rates, instances where innovators need to solicit services from some of the partners.

Inventors and entrepreneurs are encouraged to JOIN the Institute FREE of charge until May 2011, in order to benefit from the services offered by the institute.
