- Cape Town, the "Mother City", is a top tourist destination. It is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, a mix of people, culture, and cuisines. Off the beaten track
If you have been to South Africa before or want to see more, why not try some of these unique experiences:
- If you are travelling by road, stop at a local farm stall en route. These are small shops with a café/restaurant offering local produce, crafts and food. If you are in the city, visit one of the local food markets that offer anything from fresh produce to local delicacies and a full meal.
- Take a trip to the Karoo, a semi-desert region in the south of the country. Visit the Cango Caves, see the Ostrich farms and go Ziplining.
- Book a township tour; most major cities have a range of options available.
